How to Request a Correction

  • The article’s title and URL
  • The specific statement you believe is incorrect or incomplete
  • The correction or clarification you recommend
  • A reliable source that supports the requested change, if available

Providing clear details and supporting sources helps us assess requests efficiently. Please do not send private or sensitive personal information unless it is necessary to explain the issue.

How We Review Requests

We review correction requests and assess the claim against reliable sources. Depending on the issue, we may consult official records, direct statements, reputable reporting, or other relevant material. We may contact the requester for clarification, but we cannot guarantee a response to every message.

We make changes when the available evidence supports a correction or clarification. We may decline a request when the information is accurate, the supporting evidence is insufficient, or the requested change would make the article misleading.

Corrections and Updates

When we confirm a factual error, we correct it in the article. We may also revise outdated information when reliable new details become available. For significant changes, we may add a note explaining what was updated. Minor edits for spelling, formatting, or clarity may be made without a separate note.

We do not change accurate information simply because it is disputed or unfavorable. When a matter is contested, we aim to describe the available evidence and relevant responses fairly, while distinguishing allegations from established findings.

Response Time

We aim to review requests as soon as reasonably possible. The time required may vary depending on the complexity of the issue and the sources available. A request is not considered accepted until FameChronicles has reviewed it and made any appropriate update.
